One of America’s great past times are the moments spent with our family, friends, and colleagues at our favorite local restaurants. Some choose to go out just to remove the burden of cooking, while others simply enjoy eating at a restaurant because the recipes that create our favorite dishes haven’t yet been achieved at home. No matter the motive, everyone can agree that sitting down and dining at your favorite restaurant is often a great time, well spent.
Restaurant managers and owners understand the complex harmony of systems and communication that it takes for these simple pleasures to be available for our community. Everyone in the kitchen has many tasks to fulfill, as well do the servers and supervisors that work tirelessly to allow the show to continue. Nothing can be more detrimental to this wonderful display of teamwork and culinary expertise then a critical part of the wheel needing to be absent from their role in the kitchen or dining room in order to clean the restrooms. And let’s face it, customers also don’t want to envision their cook or sever cleaning toilets in between tasks…. ANY TASK!
This harmony works best when your staff can become pros at their particular roles you have designated for them and refine their workflow to become more efficient at each, instead of continuously being distracted with the burdens of cleaning up a mess. Although we can multitask, doesn’t mean that it’s a good idea to incorporate “juggling” into your restaurant staffs list of required traits. Stop your staff from having to draw straws in order to determine “who’s going to clean the restrooms today”, and allow them to focus on what really matters, the CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE.
Hygienic and sanitary eating spaces are highly important to customers, and the overall “feeling of clean” that a restaurant provides to its patrons can often overshadow whether the food actually tastes good or not. All can agree that dirty floors floor surfaces and insects in a dining room isn’t exactly the recipe to motivate customers to return with friends and family. And the fingerprints on the entry door that looks like a CSI hotspot, may not do much for rave reviews either. Simply because your cooks or servers shouldn’t be pros at streak-free glass presentation or how to spot all of the crumbs that insects will feed an army with, doesn’t mean our cleaners won’t. Finally allow your staff develop a truly efficient workflow and leave the routine cleaning to us! Cleaning is what we do best! Providing delicious meals and a great dining experience is what you should do best.
“Words can’t express how happy I am to not have to worry about my cleaning anymore. Clean toilets have a funny way of putting a smile on my face.”
